Tara joined The Capital Region Strategic Employee Benefit Services, Inc. as the Benefit Analyst. She is a June 2007 graduate of Union College where she received her B.A. in Economics and History. She was an active member of the campus community. While working with the American Cancer Society she served as the co-President of Relay For Life at Union. She previously held positions as an intern as well as on a part-time basis providing Client Service in the Insurance and Financial Services industry. As the Benefit Analyst, Tara is responsible for requesting and preparing proposals for clients as well as providing backup support to the Client Service Representative.

Tara recently passed her NYS Life and Accident and Health licensing requirements and has obtained the Associate Employee Benefit Specialist contract and title. With this accomplishment Tara is now working with small employer groups to assist them with their employee benefit programs. tara is currently working to obtain her Series 6 and 63 securities licenses.

Renee joined the Strategic Employee Benefit Services team in February 2008 as the Client Service Representative. She comes to us from the insurance and medical industries. Renee has worked in the respected industries for eight years with State Farm Insurance, Albany Medical Center's Internal Medicine and Pediatrics, and the Northwestern Mutual Financial Network. Renee brings with her; strong communication skills, her desire to help people, the willingness to do the right thing and the determination to getting the job done. She is currently working on her NYS Life, Accident and Health licensing as well as completing her B.A. in Business Management. Her experience with insurance and with medical will be a valuable asset to SEBS while assisting Renee in providing continued accurate and prompt service to you; our client.

Jennifer joined our team as the Director of Operations in February 2003. She has completed courses at Bryant & Stratton Business College focused in Business Management and Administration, as well as technology courses at Computer Education Services. She also holds her New York State Life, Accident and Health insurance license and is currently studying for additional industry licenses.

Jennifer has been in the financial services industry for nine years and has maintained positions as a Marketing Assistant to multiple agents, Marketing Assistant Supervisor and Technology Manager, and Operations and Controls Associate, (as such she played an integral part in maintaining a “well-controlled” compliance status).

Jennifer’s responsibilities will include overseeing the operational functions of the office, as well as marketing and high-level client service.

Ute joined The Capital Region Strategic Employee Benefit Services, Inc. as an Administrative Assistant in May 2006. She previously worked at Lafarge Road Marking in Parsipanny, NJ as an Administrative Assistant to the Vice President of Finance and the Director of Human Resources. Ute was responsible for running reports, daily correspondence, running background checks and reviewing the Health, Vision and COBRA benefits for all hourly employees
